Welcome, students! In this unit, we will learn about family activities at a BBQ. You will learn words about food, cooking, and family roles while practicing speaking, reading, and writing simple English sentences. By the end of this unit, you will be able to:

  • Describe a backyard BBQ
  • Talk about family members
  • Use 20 new common English words in sentences
  • Participate in short dialogues
Mission Statement

To teach students vocabulary and expressions about family gatherings using a step-by-step, multisensory approach that builds reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.
