English as a Second Language

Level A1

2. My Family

Welcome, students!

In this unit, we will learn English about family. A family is a group of people who love you, help you, and take care of you. You will learn the names of family members and talk about what they do. You will also talk about simple activities you do with your family.

By the end of this unit, you will be able to:
  • use easy English sentences about your family
  • speak in short dialogues
  • read and understand short family stories
  • write simple sentences about family members
We will use the SCS/SMS method.

SCS = Copy the sentence.
SMS = Make your own sentence.
