Characters: Anna and Ben

Anna: My favorite room is the kitchen. I like to cook there. What about you?
Ben: I like the living room. It is cozy. I watch TV there.
Anna: That sounds nice! What do you do in the kitchen?
Ben: I help my mom cook. We make dinner together. Do you cook alone?
Anna: Sometimes I cook alone, but I also cook with my mom. We make cookies!
Ben: Yum! I love cookies. What other rooms do you have?
Anna: I have a bedroom. I sleep and read there. What about you?
Ben: I have a bedroom too! I play games in my room.
Anna: That’s fun! Do you have a bathroom?
Ben: Yes, I do. I brush my teeth and take a shower there.
Anna: Me too! The bathroom is important.
Ben: Yes! What about your dining room?
Anna: We eat dinner together in the dining room. It is nice to talk with my family.

Prepositions tell where things are located.
- In: inside a space → The dishes are in the sink.
- On: resting on a surface → The book is on the table.
- Under: below something → The shoes are under the bed.

- Behind: at the back of something → The chair is behind the desk.
- In front of: at the front of something → The TV is in front of the couch.
