Peter Horton - Educator

Peter Horton is an educator, website designer, builder, and English/ESL teacher with a diverse and adventurous background. Born in Mount Clemens, Michigan, he spent his early years in the small rural town of Frederic, living in humble conditions without modern conveniences. Despite the simplicity of his upbringing—relying on a gas lantern, wood stove, and a straw bed—he cherished the close-knit community and the love of his family.

In third grade, his family relocated to Caseville for better opportunities, though his heart remained tied to the rustic charm of Frederic. Embracing change throughout his life, Peter joined the Army after high school and later pursued higher education. His passion for learning and exploration has taken him around the world, allowing him to teach in various countries and experience a wide range of cultures. Beyond education, he has worked in business and even appeared in television advertisements, weaving a rich and dynamic tapestry of personal and professional experiences.
