Then, fast forward to the 18th and 19th centuries, and you’ll find something called the Industrial Revolution. During this time, people invented machines that could do work much faster than humans. Steam engines powered trains and factories, which as a result, led to the creation of many new products and jobs. Indeed, it was a time of great change and excitement!

Next, in the late 19th century, Thomas Edison invented the electric light bulb. Can you imagine how amazing it must have been to see a bright, glowing lightbulb for the first time? Soon after, electricity started powering homes and cities, making life much easier and more comfortable.
